Hello Everyone,
Today marks our 29th week of pregnancy, and I am Happy,Happy! We had our 28 week appointment last week with Dr. Wingo, and everything is going perfect. According to Dr. Wingo our boys are growing like weeds. As of last week Baby A (Harper) is 3lbs and Baby B (Garrison) is 3.3lbs. Wah and I could not be any happier. He thinks that they will be offensive linemen, but I told him that the Hill family only produce defensive players. I felt my first baby kick last week and I almost flipped. It was really cool to finally feel what Wah has been feeling for the past months. Speaking of Wah, I could not have asked for a better person in the world to be my wife and the mother of my children. She has taken everything that the boys have thrown at her and did it with a smile on her face. And guys it has been rough on her. Still fighting the nausea, swollen feet/ankles, and now she is having difficulties trying to sleep throughout the night. But she has not complained to me at all. I try to make her life as comfortable as possible during this period but she will not let me. She is a trooper and this is one of the reasons that I love her. Well guys I will keep you posted after next weeks appointment. Have a great week!
All because two people fell in love...

24 Weeks and Counting
We are officially 6 months! Whew! We had our 6 month appointment on Thursday 9/24/09. Both babies are healthy and uncooperative. See...it's starting already. For all those out there that have volunteered to babysit, we're gonna hold you to it. These boys are rambunctious and ready to go! There is no rest for the weary.
Baby on the left is 1.7 pounds and baby on the right is 1.6 pounds. Baby on the left has switched positions to get more comfortable in his shared home. He is a transverse breech position. In plain ole English, this means he is laying sideways and his head facing my spine while baby on theleft is still head down. There is still plenty of time for him to turn prior to delivery. We think it will be inevitable for a C-section though. But please pray for us so that everything goes smoothly and as planned.
I am officially off of work. Our doctor told us that too many hours at the restaurant is not safe due to some previous complications. So we are at home taking it easy until it is time for our boys to join us. Please do not hesitate to call or come by for a visit.
We will be having several baby showers over the next few months. Be on the lookout for your invitations. If we already do not have your address, please send it to either Jason or myself or call us at (615) 400-8785 : mamawah1977@gmail.com (Wah) or (615) 491-1076 jhill_72@gmail.com (Jason).
We are registered at Target and Babies-R-Us.

20 Week Appointment
Ok. So I know it's taken us a while to update our blog. We have been so busy with vacations, work, and baby stuff that we have not had the time. So for all our faithful followers, this is for you. :)
We are now 22 weeks. But let us back track. Our previous appointment was at 20 weeks. It was the 1 hour ultrasound followed by a doctor's visit. At this ultrasound, we got to take my sister Christine so that she could get an inside look at her 2 nephew's. We were so excited to see our babies. Between ultrasound appointments it seems like forever. So needless to say we were excited.
At this appointment, the doctor's checked the babies hearts, kidney functions. Looked for signs of down syndrome, spina bifida, cleft palette, and other neural tube defects. As of now, we are in the clear and as far as we know, have perfectly heatlhy, super active baby boys. They moved around so much that the sonographer could not keep up with their movements. They each weighed 12 ounces and have strong heartbeats. There is plenty of amniotic fluid in the sac. This shows that the babies are swallowing and urinating all over the place. Is this what's to come?

Boys will be BOYS!!!!!
Our sixteenth week has finally come. The verdict is in....we are definately having boys. That's right! Two of 'em. Of course we were not suppposed to find out just yet. This ultrasound was not planned. This doctor's visit was supposed to be the Triple Screen test (to test for Spina Bifida, Downs Syndrome, and Neural tube defects).
We began to have some minor complications and the doctor was concerned about them so he sent us for an ultrasound. Everything from the ultrasound showed that the babies were doing just fine. But we were anxious to know the gender and we had to ask. Sure enough, our suspicions were accurate, we are having boys. Yay!!!! Of course we did not waste anytime telling everyone we knew. We were so excited that we ran out and purchased an outfit for each of our nuggets.
Baby boy (L) sure is active while baby boy (R) is really laid back. He only gave up a quick peek of what we wanted to see and then quickly showed us his back. We are super excited about the weeks to come. Stay tuned...

Oh Babies...

These last 2 weeks have been brutal. My feet, legs, and hands are all swollen. The morning sickness has not subsided. It wasn't even this bad in the first trimester. These first two weeks of the second trimester have been nearly unbearable. No, I'm not complaining. I am taking all that these babies are throwing at me and rolling with the punches. Jason and I are enjoying the pregnancy but cannot wait until our babies arrive! Jason has been super supportive and helpful. He is going to be such an awesome dad! I feel so blessed to not only have him as my husband, but also as my best friend.
Our next appointment isn't until August 4. We will be exactly 16 weeks...just past the time frame to determine the sex of the babies. We are doubtful that an ultrasound will be performed at this time but we are definately hopeful! Otherwise, we will have to wait until September...BOOO!

13 Weeks Today
Ok. So we are 13 weeks today. The count down is on! I am feeling fairly large but no so much in charge. Some days I feel really good. Others not so hot. Today has been a good day thus so far. I was just thinking that we have less than 6 months to go. Can it be true? has it really been that long already. It seems like just yesterday we found out.
This week we will be busying ourselves making room for these babies. I never realized how much stuff there was in preparation and readying the home. I know we still have some time but I guess we better get a jump on it hunh?
