Hello everyone. We are happy to announce that we are expecting not only our first child, but our second too. For those who don't know us, we have been actively "trying" to start a family for over a year now. God has blessed us with two bundles of joy. It was awesome knowing that we were pregnant. We learned of this news on May 14, 2009. Unbeknownst to us, we were having 2. We immediately made an appointment for a doctor to confirm our pregnancy. Once this was confirmed, we were good as gold. Our first appointment was on June 9, 2009. We met the doctor, asked questions, and was sent on our way for an ultrasound. Before the songrapher came in the room to start the "process," I looked at Jason and said, "Wouldn't that be crazy if we were having twins?" Jason said, "Quit playing. We are not having twins." The sonographer enters the room to begin the ultrasound. The young lady starts the ultrasound and the first thing that she said to us was "Um, Congratulations! You guys are having twins!" We began laughing hysterically. Jason jumped from his chair to see the screen closer. I began laughing uncontrollably and then began crying softly. I was crying so hard, that my eyeglassed fogged up and I yelled "I can't see!" LOL. What a day. We were in SHOCK! We were happy to be pregnant. It felt as if we just found out all over again.
So this is our story. We hope that you will share with us the joy and happiness that this has brought to us. We will update you on our progress and the Hill twins as it occurs. Stay tuned for some double trouble...
Love,
Jason & Mamawah

That is great news! Becoming a parent is one of the greatest joys in life. My best advice is to enjoy each moment, don't get caught up in planning what's next because time flys so fast... Also, they don't care about the stuff, they just want your attention and to see you smiling at them. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!!! Congratulations to the both of you! What a double blessing! I know you all will make great parents. Enjoy each moment!
